Principal

EtonHouse International School Granada

Mohsin Ibrahim brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Principal of EtonHouse International School Granada. With a strong background in science, safeguarding, inclusion, and senior leadership, Mohsin has over 15 years of experience in school leadership and teaching in both the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.

Mohsin holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the prestigious University of Nottingham UK. He is also a trained inspector with Tribal and Penta and serves as an Inspector for the British School Overseas (BSO) Accreditation worldwide.

Passionate about improving the quality of teaching and learning, safeguarding, and providing excellent provisions for students, Mohsin is dedicated to ensuring that every child matters at EtonHouse International School Granada. He is committed to continuous improvement and takes a proactive approach to enhance the educational experience for all students.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mohsin has a keen interest in exploring different cultures and has visited over 25 countries. He is an avid football fan and supports Liverpool FC. In his leisure time, he enjoys long walks or cycling while listening to podcasts.

Elizabeth Connor-Scahill

Elizabeth has been a successful EtonHouse school leader having led an EtonHouse campus in Singapore. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the market in the Middle East as well as a strong understanding of the EtonHouse teaching and learning approach—something that inspires confidence in her local and international experience.

Elizabeth is dedicated towards providing the highest standards of care and education for children. She thoroughly enjoys working alongside teachers, parents and children to promote best practices in early childhood, drawing on her U.K. based experiences and International Educational expertise built in the Gulf and Singapore. Elizabeth is an innovative leader and enjoys planning for the school community needs. She has a strong reputation for leading new schools through to success with a solid reputation.

Elizabeth views young children as capable, curious, social explorers. She strongly advocates for play and inquiry. Elizabeth believes all curriculum decisions and programme designs should centre around understanding how children learn best. She celebrates the power of an international school as she is able to draw on diverse perspectives, experiences and talent in the staff and parent community. Elizabeth advocates for parents as partners and truly feels they understand their child best as the first educator.

Ms Daniya Natha

Ms. Daniya Natha holds a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the United Kingdom. She is a dedicated and innovative educator who brings creativity, care, and a deep passion for student growth into the classroom.

Daniya has held leadership roles as a Year Leader and Curriculum Planning Lead, where she played a key role in designing inclusive, engaging lessons that promote curiosity, confidence, and holistic development. She is also committed to student wellbeing, having led whole-school Mental Health Day initiatives and extracurricular clubs that build resilience, teamwork, and communication skills.

Her teaching approach is rooted in collaboration, adaptability, and a strong belief in the unique potential of every child. Daniya looks forward to contributing meaningfully to a vibrant, student-centred learning community at EtonHouse.

Ms. Ayesha Gilroy holds a First Class Honours degree in Supporting Children, Families, and Young People from the University of Leeds and Leeds Trinity. With over 13 years of experience in the education sector, she brings a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for supporting children with a diverse range of needs.

Ayesha has worked across a wide range of settings, including mainstream and high-needs special schools, local authorities, parental support services, charities, community organisations, and the health sector. 

She is committed to fostering inclusive learning environments where all children are supported to thrive. Ayesha also values mental and physical wellbeing and holds a yoga teaching qualification, which she integrates into her work to promote balance and self-awareness.

Mr. Simon brings over a decade of experience in primary Physical Education, having taught in his hometown of Bradford, England, as well as in international settings including Qatar, Brazil, Jamaica, the United States, and Italy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Coaching & Development and Physical Activity from Teesside University in the UK, and has spent nearly 20 years coaching football, including work with a professional football academy in the UK.

Simon is passionate about delivering inclusive, high-quality PE programmes that support students’ physical, social, and emotional development. With a strong background in curriculum design, he creates active, engaging environments where children are encouraged to enjoy movement, embrace challenges, and build confidence.

With over 14 years of experience in early childhood education, including three years in the UAE, Ms. Yasmin is passionate about nurturing confident, capable and curious learners. She holds a degree from the University of Roehampton, London, and is trained in both the Early Years Foundation Stage and IB curriculum.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, she believes in celebrating children’s voices and creating meaningful, culturally responsive learning experiences. Her classroom is a safe, inclusive space where children feel empowered to explore, create, and grow.

She is proud to be part of the EtonHouse Granada community, where inquiry, creativity, and collaboration are at the heart of learning.

Originally from Morocco, Ms. Amina is a native Arabic speaker with a strong passion for education. She holds a BSc in Economics and Management and has years of experience working with children up to Year 5 in both Morocco and the UK.

Having spent the past few years in the UK, she brings a global perspective to her teaching, blending structured learning with creativity and care. Her bilingual background allows her to support students in developing strong language skills while nurturing cultural awareness and confidence.

Ms. Amina is dedicated to creating a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels seen and supported . She is excited to be part of the EtonHouse Granada community and looks forward to inspiring a love of Arabic language and culture in her students.

Mr. Moncef Abdellaoui is a passionate ICT and Robotics educator with a solid background in computer science. He designs dynamic, hands-on learning experiences that bring STEM concepts to life—encouraging students to explore programming, engineering, and real-world problem-solving.

By integrating modern technologies and robotics into the classroom, Mr. Moncef fosters critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. His approach empowers students to become confident digital learners and forward-thinking problem-solvers.

He is excited to be part of the EtonHouse Granada team, where he continues to inspire a love for technology and future-ready skills in every learner.

Ms. Sun Yunjie holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and has taught across the USA, Russia, and Spain. With a strong foundation in early childhood immersion, HSK preparation, and Business Chinese, she brings both versatility and depth to her teaching practice.

A recipient of the Excellent Award in the Confucius Institute’s Chinese Teaching Skills Competition, Ms. Sun is known for her engaging and effective teaching style, combining academic rigour with humour and empathy. Her lessons are thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity and foster a genuine love for the Chinese language.

Students and parents consistently commend her for her professionalism, passion, and ability to connect meaningfully with learners of all ages.

Originally from Jordan and now based in Riyadh, Ms. Rosol is an experienced Arabic language teacher with an IB PYP certification. She holds a degree from the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Arts at UNRWA University, as well as a diploma in Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers.

Ms. Rosol has taught in international schools across Jordan and Saudi Arabia, where she brings Arabic to life through creative, student-centred approaches. She believes that language is a powerful connector to identity and culture, and is passionate about making Arabic accessible, engaging, and meaningful for all learners.

Her teaching focuses on building strong reading, writing, and communication skills while nurturing a lifelong appreciation for the Arabic language.

Ms. Teresa Lambrechts is a passionate and dedicated educator from Cape Town, South Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree (cum laude), with a specialisation in English and Literature and brings over a decade of classroom experience to her role.

She is committed to creating dynamic, learner-centred environments that foster creativity, critical thinking, and mutual respect. A strong advocate for the arts in education, Ms. Teresa often integrates drama into her teaching practice. She is an advocate for using the creative process to help students build confidence, communication, and collaboration skills.

She believes in the power of the arts to enrich learning and inspire students to express themselves with authenticity and purpose.

Mrs. Laura Pendergast is a Canadian educator with nearly 20 years of experience in teaching and educational leadership across Canada and the Middle East. She brings deep expertise in primary education and curriculum development, along with a strong international perspective.

Laura holds two Master’s degrees: in Curriculum and Instruction (University of Bath, UK) and in Educational Leadership and Administration (Endicott College, USA), reflecting her commitment to excellence in both teaching and leadership.

Passionate about responsive and inclusive education, Laura designs learning experiences that meet the needs of all students. She is excited to be part of the EtonHouse community and looks forward to contributing to a vibrant, student-centred learning environment.

Ms. Twane Coaker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law and began her career in the legal field before discovering her passion for education. Since transitioning into teaching, she has drawn on her background in law to bring strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and empathy into the classroom.

Twane is committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel valued and confident to grow. She has worked with learners across a wide range of ages and abilities, and takes pride in building meaningful relationships that support both academic and personal development.

Believing that every child holds unique potential, Twane is dedicated to helping her students grow not just in knowledge, but in confidence, curiosity, and self-belief.

Ms. Chelsea Ann Jones holds a Bachelor of Education from South Africa. Her journey into teaching began with a year of community service, which sparked a deep commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners. While pursuing her degree, she gained valuable experience as an education assistant, shaping her student-centred and compassionate approach.

Now in her third year of teaching, Chelsea brings energy, dedication, and a genuine passion for education to the EtonHouse community. She is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom where every child feels supported and empowered.

Elanie is a passionate early childhood educator from South Africa with over a decade of teaching and leadership experience. She holds a Bachelor of Education in Pre-School and Foundation Phase and an Honours degree in Learning Support, equipping her to meet the individual needs of every child.

Known for her bubbly personality and creative approach, Elanie creates joyful, engaging classrooms where children feel seen, valued, and empowered to learn at their own pace. As both an experienced teacher and former kindergarten manager, she brings energy, expertise, and a deep commitment to nurturing confident, curious learners.

A mother of two, Elanie values strong home–school partnerships and believes in the power of collaboration to support each child’s growth. She continues to deepen her practice through hands-on experience and professional development, always striving to make a lasting, positive impact.

Natasha is a dedicated early childhood educator from South Africa with nine years of preschool teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education from UNISA and brings a strong passion for inclusive, play-based learning.

With a background in supporting neurodiverse learners, Natasha creates nurturing classroom environments where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to thrive. Her approach encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

Yasmin is a passionate early years educator with over seven years of experience teaching in Reception and Year 1 classrooms across London. She is known for creating calm, inclusive, and nurturing environments where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

Her child-centred approach is rooted in play-based learning and supports both academic progress and emotional development. Yasmin believes in giving children the space to explore, follow their interests, and grow at their own pace.

Halima is an experienced early years educator from Kent, UK, whose love for literature, especially the works of Charles Dickens, inspired her passion for teaching. With classroom experience across Kent, London, and Riyadh, she brings a strong understanding of both UK and US early childhood frameworks.

A specialist in inquiry-based, play-driven learning, Halima believes in tailoring her approach to each child’s unique learning style. Her classrooms are warm, inclusive spaces where children feel safe, valued, and empowered to explore the world around them with curiosity and confidence.

Rachel is delighted to join EtonHouse Granada as our Atelierista. She holds a First Class Honours degree in Education from the University of Liverpool, UK, and brings with her over 25 years of experience leading Art and Design in UK preparatory schools, working with children aged 2 to 13.

Originally a generalist teacher, Rachel followed her passion for the arts and has since dedicated her career to nurturing creativity in young learners. Deeply inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the Hundred Languages of Children, she believes in the power of open-ended exploration and self-expression through a wide variety of artistic mediums.

Rachel aims to create an Atelier that sparks curiosity, wonder, and joy—where children are free to experiment, imagine, and communicate their ideas in unique and meaningful ways. She sees each child as an artist with their own voice and values an environment that supports individual growth, creativity, and playful discovery.

She is excited to bring her experience and vision to the EtonHouse community, and to shape a learning space that invites collaboration, inspiration, and endless possibilities.

Atheer is a passionate Arabic educator with nearly a decade of experience teaching children from KG1 to KG3 in international settings. She holds a degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University and a Certificate in Child Behavior Modification from King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh.

As the Arabic Language Leader at her preschool, Atheer specialises in delivering Arabic in ways that are engaging, joyful, and tailored to each child’s learning style, whether they are native or non-native speakers. She believes that young children learn best when they feel seen, heard, and emotionally connected, and she strives to build trusting relationships that nurture confidence and curiosity.

Deeply committed to helping children connect with the Arabic language and their cultural identity, Atheer brings language to life through stories, play, and celebrations. She has led many special events including Saudi National Day, Ramadan, and World Arabic Language Day—often incorporating children’s theatre to make learning meaningful and memorable.

Huda is a passionate, multilingual educator who finds deep joy in working with young children. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and French Languages from the University of Jordan and is a native Arabic speaker fluent in Modern Standard Arabic. She feels privileged to share the richness of her language and culture with her students, helping them build strong early foundations.

With experience teaching children from diverse backgrounds, Huda creates inclusive, nurturing classrooms where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. Her playful, relationship-driven approach supports early literacy, emotional growth, and a lifelong love of learning.

Beyond the classroom, Huda enjoys reading, exploring cultures, and pursuing professional development in early childhood education.
